The Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance began its commitment to support the local community that supports the wine industry in 2006 with funds raised at the 14th Annual Zinfandel Festival. For the first time in 2009, the Alliance facilitated a Wine Country Auction during Wine Festival, furthering the Alliance’s dedication to giving dollars back to the community. The Wine Country Auction enriches Zinfandel Festival and Wine Festival by providing a charitable platform to exciting marquee events in wine country. Festival goers are encouraged to bid on wine and lifestyle items that are not available through commercial or retail outlets. Auction lots include signed large format library wines, wine country getaway packages and the annual collaborative blend wine.
